Thirteenth Annual Hill Country Family History Seminar
Saturday April 22, 2017

Guest Speaker - Dr. Michael Lacopo
Back By Popular Demand!

Dr. Michael Lacopo was born and raised in northern Indiana.  He started doing genealogical research as a hobby in 1980 to verify family stories he had always heard.  In 1991 Michael completed his doctorate in veterinary medicine.  In 2013, he retired from his medical career to pursue genealogical research as a full-time profession.  Michael has contributed to numerous periodicals and is a popular and respected speaker both nationally and internationally.  His interests and strengths include Mennonite and European research. You can follow Michael’s research adventures at his blog at Roots4U.blogspot.com.

After and exciting and successful seminar in 2016, the seminar participants voted to have Dr. Lacopo return in 2017, and he graciously accepted.  We are looking forward to another day of engaging presentations.  Breakfast, snacks, and lunch are included in the registration fee, and door prizes will be handed out during the day.  We will have an Open House Meet and Greet the night before the seminar at The Family History Place that is free for all seminar registrants.
